What Lighthouse does

Lighthouse by Dragonfly helps caregivers organize calendar items, tasks, medicines, appointment reminders, appointment location and contact details, diary notes, doctor summary preparation, emergency information, private caregiver notes, backup plan information, caregiver support reminders, and optional App Lock using Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode where available.

Lighthouse is designed as a local-first caregiver organization app.

What Lighthouse does not do

Lighthouse by Dragonfly does not provide medical, mental health, legal, emergency, diagnosis, treatment, medication, nutrition, or diet advice.

Lighthouse by Dragonfly does not recommend medicines, medicine changes, treatments, tests, diagnoses, providers, or emergency actions.

Lighthouse by Dragonfly does not replace doctors, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, emergency responders, attorneys, or other qualified professionals.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact emergency services. For medical decisions, diagnosis, treatment, medication changes, urgent symptoms, or safety concerns, contact a qualified health care professional.

User responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter, checking information for accuracy, deciding what to share and with whom, following advice from qualified professionals, and confirming appointment times, medicine instructions, and care instructions with appropriate professionals.

Lighthouse by Dragonfly may help you organize information, but it does not verify that information.

Local-first storage

Version 1 stores information on your device. If your device is lost, replaced, damaged, erased, or unavailable, information stored only on that device may not transfer automatically.

Lighthouse by Dragonfly does not require a Lighthouse account, connect to doctor systems, connect to health records, connect to insurers, connect to pharmacies, connect to outside calendars, or create a custom Lighthouse password system.

Optional App Lock helps keep your Lighthouse information private on this device using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode where available. App Lock does not create online backup, remote wipe, multi-device transfer, or account login.

If you use Open in Maps, Lighthouse sends the saved address to the phone's maps app. Lighthouse does not provide navigation, calculate drive time, monitor traffic, or verify addresses.

Sensitive information

You may choose to enter sensitive personal or health-related information. Only enter information you are comfortable storing on your device.

If you copy, export, text, email, print, upload, or otherwise share information outside Lighthouse by Dragonfly, that information may be handled by another app, service, person, or organization.

Emergency Information Card

The Emergency Information Card is for information storage only. It may help keep names, contacts, allergies, doctors, pharmacy, insurance contact, medication list, and notes in one place.

It does not provide emergency guidance, triage, diagnosis, treatment, medication advice, or instructions about what to do in an emergency.

Medicines and diary observations

Medication features are for caregiver-created organization and tracking only. Lighthouse by Dragonfly does not prescribe, recommend, change, or verify medications, doses, timing, or instructions.

Diary notes are for caregiver-created observations and questions. You may use Diary notes to write observations about eating, appetite, taste changes, weight changes, sleep, mood, confusion, medication concerns, or other care-related patterns.

Lighthouse by Dragonfly does not provide nutrition advice, diet recommendations, weight-loss guidance, diagnosis, treatment, or medication advice.

No warranty and limitation of liability

Lighthouse by Dragonfly is provided as-is and as available. We do not promise that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every caregiver situation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lighthouse by Dragonfly and its owner are not responsible for decisions, actions, losses, damages, missed tasks, missed appointments, missed medicines, data loss, or other outcomes related to your use of or reliance on the app.
