Local-first design

Lighthouse by Dragonfly is designed to store caregiver-entered information locally on your device.

If your device is lost, replaced, damaged, erased, or unavailable, information stored only on that device may not transfer automatically.

We do not create user accounts. We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising networks.

Optional App Lock helps keep your Lighthouse information private on this device using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode where available. App Lock does not create an account, remote wipe, or multi-device transfer.

Lighthouse does not connect directly to doctor systems, health records, insurers, pharmacies, or outside calendars.

Information you enter

You may choose to enter:

• Caregiver and loved-one names
• Medicines, doses, timing, and notes
• Appointments, tests, infusions, routines, reminders, optional location names, street addresses, office phone numbers, scheduling phone numbers, website links, travel notes, leave-by times, and bring-with-you checklist items
• Emergency Information Card details, including allergies, emergency contacts, pharmacy, doctors, insurance contact, medication list, and notes
• Diary notes and doctor questions, including user-entered observations about eating, appetite, taste changes, or weight changes
• Private caregiver notes
• Photos
• Support contacts and household tasks

You control what you enter.

Information we receive from you

In Version 1, we do not intentionally receive the care information you enter into the app unless you choose to send it to us.

If you contact support by email, we may receive your email address, the information you choose to include in your message, screenshots or attachments you choose to send, and device or app details you choose to provide.

Please do not email sensitive health information unless it is necessary for your support request.

Emergency Information Card

The Emergency Information Card is for information storage only. It may store names, allergies, emergency contacts, preferred pharmacy, doctors, insurance contact, medication list, and notes.

It does not provide emergency guidance, triage, diagnosis, treatment, medication advice, or instructions about what to do in an emergency.

Sharing outside the app

If you copy, export, upload, text, email, print, or otherwise share information outside Lighthouse by Dragonfly, that information may be handled by another app, service, person, or organization.

Only share information when you are comfortable doing so.

Diary observations

Diary notes are for caregiver-created observations. You may choose to write observations about eating, appetite, taste changes, weight changes, sleep, mood, confusion, medication concerns, or questions for a doctor.

Lighthouse by Dragonfly does not provide nutrition advice, diet recommendations, weight-loss guidance, diagnosis, treatment, or medication advice.

Medical and legal boundaries

Lighthouse by Dragonfly helps organize care information and caregiver routines. It does not provide medical, mental health, legal, emergency, diagnosis, or treatment advice.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact emergency services. For medical decisions, diagnosis, treatment, medication changes, or urgent health concerns, contact a qualified health care professional.

Children

Lighthouse by Dragonfly is intended for adult caregivers. It is not intended for children.
